Room Equipment

All rooms are equipped with a computer, a video projector, an overhead projector and video equipment – latter two only if ordered as such by e-mail no later than August 31, 2007. Authors working with PowerPoint are kindly requested to bring their USB stick containing their material.

Young Scientist’s Award

In the course of the congress the Swiss Society of Psychology bestows the Young Scientist’s Award to a young researcher for his or her outstanding achievement. Further information on the application procedure you can find in the following documents.

Poster Award

We are pleased to announce that in this years convention a good poster presentation is especially motivating as a poster jury will honour the best posters presented at the SSP 2007. The best three posters in each of the two categories graduate students and post-graduate students will be prized. The Awards will be bestowed during the Farewell Apéro. The winners will be presented with an honorarium or comparable prize, an award certificate, and will be mentioned on the conference website.

Social Program

The first conference day will be followed by a Social Dinner which offers the opportunity to meet colleagues in a casual atmosphere. The banquet will be held at the Kammermusiksaal at the Kongresshaus Zürich and starts after the SSP Members Meeting. You can enrol for the dinner together with the congress registration.

Get Together on Wednesday, September 12

For a nice Get Together on the eve of the conference we will be at the Brasserie Metropol at the Kongresshaus Zürich from 6:30 pm (General-Guisan-Quai 5, 8002 Zürich, for a map please see http://maps.google.de). Here you can have a savoury dinner or a little snack in between and already meet up with colleagues in a casual atmosphere. Until 9:00 pm you may already receive your conference documents. As the program of the conference starts early on Thursday, September 13, we recommend that you arrive already on Wednesday and hopefully you join us for this gathering. Please mind that meals and drinks during this evening are not included in the conference fee. We are looking forward to seeing you at the Brasserie Metropol!
