Funding of research and young scientists by the Swiss National Science Foundation

This contribution gives an overview regarding the different funding possibilities of the Swiss National Science Foundation which are relevant for the field of Psychology: investigator-driven research, targeted research (the National Research Programmes (NRP) and the National Centres of Competence in Research (NCCR)), international research co-operation, large range of funding opportunities for individual careers: Fellowships for prospective and advanced researchers, SNF Professorships, Marie Heim-Vögtlin Programme, Pro*Doc (Graduates Programmes), conference grants and publication grants.
Furthermore, criteria for the evaluation and the application procedure are going to be discussed.
